Contract Manager

SUMMARY:
A Vacancy exists for a Security Contract Manager in the Guarding Division base in Pretoria.

POSITION INFO:
The suitable candidate’s main responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• The Contract Manager coordinates the provision of contractual and ad hoc security services to the client, in compliance with legislation, client policies and procedures, to ensure SLA and KPI’S are met;
• Assist the Operations team to ensure daily tasks and targets are met;
• Diligent and neat in appearance;
• Ability to work under pressure and take charge;
• Managing security officer;
• Conducting SOP and job description training with the Security Personnel;
• Attending onsite Security Operations meeting with the client;
• Managing of daily operations;
• Manage the disciplinary process on site;
• Managing and promote Health & Safety compliance;
• Managing ad-hoc requests for security;
• Manage Contractors that enter his/her environment and ensure Client Specific compliance;
• Manage the risk associated with the Contractors working on site;
• Conducting security sweeps to enforce compliance;
• Keeping the Client informed;
• Compile weekly/monthly incident reports;
• Conducting Site Risk Assessment;
• Incident reporting;

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification;
• PSIRA Registered with a Grade A certificate;
• Maximum of 10 years’ experience in the Security Industry;
• Able to work long hours;
• Sound Communication Skills (Verbal and Written);
• Bilingual (English and other South Africa language);
• Own reliable Transport for after hour and weekend visit to site;
• Skills level 1-3;
• Computer literate (MS Office);
• Firearm compliance;
• Strong interaction capabilities with the client;
• Able to obtain medical fitness certification;
