Continuous Improvement Coordinator

POSITION INFO:

A well established organization is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Continuous Improvement Coordinator to join the Continuous
Improvement department. This position is based in Pietermaritzburg. 

Responsibilities: 

• Drive Continuous Improvement in a lean manufacturing area.
• Facilitate the deployment of Visual management methodologies in the areas.
• Lead Lean six sigma Projects.
• Reduce wastage through the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Facilitate the use of the following Services where required:
  - Time Studies
  - Multi-moment Analysis
  - Waste Walks
  - Value stream Mapping
  - Process Mapping
• Lead and facilitate the effective use of Statistical Process Control and other statistical methods in the area to
  improve Process Control
• Lead and Facilitate Process Control System in the areas to improve quality.

Requirements:

• A National Diploma/BTech or Degree in Industrial Engineering
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing would be an advantage.
• Preferable 4 Years working experience.
• Competent in MS office programs.
• Good conflict managements skills.
• Self-motivated with Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Service driven, innovative, reliable, assertive and strong customer focus.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Sound understanding of engineering principles and processes.
