Job Description: Consulting Electrical Engineer - Pretoria

One of our esteemed clients, being a medium-sized consulting engineering firm with offices in Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban, Aliwal, George and Bloemfontein is urgently looking for a Consulting Electrical Engineering candidate to be based full time at their head office in Pretoria North. They should meet the following criteria:
Experience:
• Minimum 5 Years of building consulting services experience,
• Min qualifications B Eng or B Tech Eng
• Good managerial skills, to manage, build and mentor a regional team of technical, administrative, and financial members
• Good hands-on design skills
• Manage projects from concept to closeout
• Must have previously done lightning, power, and lightning protection designs and specifications, PV installation,
• Have drawn up tender Bills of Quantities,
• Capable to work on Auto CAD
• Schematic layouts of distribution boards and MCC’c,
• Professional writing and communication skills,
• Professional report writing
• Have attended and kept minutes for site meetings, project meetings, office and technical meetings
• Energetic, ethical and well-spoken, as to also attend to marketing and securing projects to help grow the business
• Suitable design and project management experience
• Able to travel nationally
• Good secure growth opportunity
• Driver License
• Self-driven and career-focused who wants to join a highly motivated and energetic team
• Requirement: ECSA Registered Professional Electrical Engineer
