Construction Supervisor / Site Foreman

POSITION INFO:

Construction Supervisor / Site Foreman required for a reputable construction company based in East London, Eastern Cape 

Requirements :

• 5 years’ experience working on medium sized projects
• Ability to supervise a small - medium team 
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and levels
• Willing to work out of town
• In-depth understanding of construction processes, materials, and equipment.
• Familiarity with local and national building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards

Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure clear understanding of project goals
• Supervise and direct the work of site staff, including subcontractors and laborers
• Inspect completed work for accuracy and compliance, identifying and correcting any issues promptly
• Maintain cost control and avoid wastage of resources
