SUMMARY:
A well-established building contractor in the Western Cape, is currently searching for a committed and hardworking Site Manager who can join their team in Stilbaai as soon as possible.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

National Diploma in Building or similar qualification in the built environment
Practical training of the fundamentals in relevant building trades
Minimum 5-10 years’ experience working as a Site Manager on large industrial and commercial structures
Ability to read and understand drawings essential
Competent in planning and managing all site construction activities
Ability to manage the work programs and finding solutions to problems encountered
Skills to enable successful procurement and planning to ensure that site activities are on schedule
Ability to monitor project performance and ensuring that site activities are on schedule and that projects are delivered to the client on time and to their satisfaction

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Control of materials on site
Coordinate time keeping of labour force
Liaison with client’s agent
Quality assurance
Attending site meetings
