POSITION INFO:
Requirements:
- Advanced Diploma OR Degree in building.
- Professionally registered with the SACPCMP.
- 5-10 Years Construction Management Experience
- Proven experience in construction management, with a track record of successfully
delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage
and motivate teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Commitment to safety and quality

Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects, including planning,
scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
- Ensure project execution according the best quality, within time and cost frameworks.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to
ensure project goals are met.
- Follow-up on leads with subcontractors, suppliers and information from clients and
consultants.
- Manage Site Team and production.
- Overall Site Quality; Building Quality and Workmanship.
- Ensure the site establishment is secured at all times, relevant Storeman with an honest
perception is appointed, security placed at entrances and tracking of delivery vehicles.
- Ensure OHS is key to a fully compliant site.
- Managing day to day tasks of site through foreman and sub-contractors.
- Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks and
milestones.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure projects are completed within
budgetary constraints.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with
specifications and regulations.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction, working proactively
to find solutions and keep projects on track.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project status, including progress,
budget, and any issues or risks.
