Job Duties:
- Oversee and manage all construction activities on the mining site
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Coordinate and schedule construction tasks and resources
- Monitor progress and quality of work
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders
- Prepare and update project schedules and budgets
- Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during construction
- Communicate progress updates to senior management
Required Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager in the mining industry
- Excellent knowledge of construction processes and regulations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience:
- 10 years in construction management,
- 5 years of experience in mining
- Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects within the mining sector, including both open-pit and/or underground operations.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Thorough understanding of construction processes and regulations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Project management expertise
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
