SUMMARY:
Construction Manager with international high-profile projects experience required for Ethiopia (18 months)

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Extensive experience as construction manager and/or civil engineer (contracting)
Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
Previous experience or involvement in a hospitality project, or other form of commercial construction projects like malls, convention centers, offices, airports will be invaluable to this role
BSc in civil engineering, architectural engineering, building science or relevant field
Previous experience in GCC countries, especially UAE and Qatar will be an advantage
18 months full-time on site position

Responsibilities:

Oversee entire project lifecycle, including scheduling, budgeting, and procurement
Coordinate construction sequencing and phase scheduling to prevent delays and rework
Supervise day-to-day site operations, including labor management, quality control, and safety compliance
Communicate regularly with clients, architects, consultants, and stakeholders for progress updates
Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies; produce blueprints aligned with technical standards
Monitor project milestones and address design, administrative, or operational issues promptly
Ensure project delivery is on time, on budget, and meets quality construction standards
