What you’ll do:
Strategic Leadership Innovation
- Pioneer innovative GRC frameworks that truly work in practice, not just in theory
- Guide organisations through their GRC transformation journeys, from strategy to implementation
- Challenge conventional thinking to develop practical, cutting-edge solutions
- Foster a culture where compliance becomes a business enabler rather than a hindrance
Client Partnership Advisory
- Build trusted relationships with clients across all organisational levels
- Transform complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable strategies
- Lead organisations through critical risk and compliance challenges
- Design and deliver engaging training that makes GRC accessible and meaningful
Technical Excellence
- Develop and implement comprehensive GRC frameworks aligned with international standards
- Lead risk assessments that drive real business value
- Design practical compliance monitoring and testing programmes
- Navigate complex regulatory landscapes across multiple jurisdictions
- Harness technology to revolutionise GRC processes
Your expertise:
- 10+ years of hands-on GRC experience, with at least 5 years in consulting
- Proven track record of implementing successful GRC programmes
- International compliance experience highly valued
- Deep understanding of relevant legislation and standards: g.,
- Data Protection (POPIA/PAIA/GDPR)
- Financial Crime (FICA/POCA/PRECCA/POCDATARA)
- Governance (Companies Act, King Reports)
- International Standards (ISO 37000/37301/31000/37001)
- Experience in developing and delivering GRC training programmes from Board level to employee level.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree: Com (Law/Risk Management/Internal Audit), LLB, or equivalent or Post-Graduate Diploma in Compliance Management (University of Johannesburg)
- CPrac(SA) and/or AMLC Prac(SA) designation (Required at a minimum)
- Active membership with the Compliance Institute (Southern Africa)
- IRMSA membership (advantageous)

- Physical Demands: Site based activities. Occasionally work in unsanitary conditions. Standby and overtime, working in irregular hours.
