Company Secretarial, Tax & Compliance Manager

SUMMARY:
Take on a pivotal role in managing the company’s secretarial and tax compliance functions, ensuring corporate governance excellence and adherence to statutory and tax regulations. This position is critical to maintaining the company’s integrity and fostering operational efficiency.

POSITION INFO:

Corporate Governance

• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain high standards of corporate governance.

Board Support

• Prepare meeting agendas, record minutes, and provide administrative support to board meetings and committees.

Compliance Management

• Develop and oversee control systems to manage or prevent violations of legal guidelines and internal policies.

Tax Compliance

• Ensure internal tax processes comply with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Prepare and deliver accurate and timely tax returns and statutory reports.

Policy Development

• Draft, modify, and implement company policies that align with legal and business objectives.

Risk Assessment

• Identify and assess compliance and governance risks, and develop mitigation strategies.

Training

• Conduct training sessions to educate employees on compliance standards and governance principles.

Reporting

• Compile and present detailed reports to senior management and external regulatory bodies.

Liaison

• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities and ensure all statutory filings are submitted promptly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• A Master’s degree or professional certifications such as ICSA or CPA is an advantage.

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role with expertise in corporate governance, compliance regulations, and tax law.
