SUMMARY:
DBN000088: Company Buyer – Electrical & Plumbing (PMB)

Purpose of Job:
Seeking a proactive and experienced Buyer to take ownership of our purchasing operations across two branches – with more locations in the pipeline. This is a key role for someone who understands the fast-paced nature of trade supply and is ready to help us scale efficiently and profitably.

Required Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Sage 200 (Sage pastel Evolution)

Technical Competencies and Experience

1. 3 to 5 years of buying or procurement experience, preferably in the electrical or plumbing industry
2. Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
3. Analytical and detail-oriented, experience in stock forecasting and reporting
4. Work independently and manage multiple supplier relationships
5. Knowledge of international sourcing practices advantageous

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities

1. Purchase stock for branches
2. Source and manage buyouts
3. Negotiate suppliers pricing, deals and rebates
4. Building and maintain strong relationships with supplies and sales representatives.
5. Provide monthly procurement and performance reports to management
6. Monitor stock levels

1. Strong knowledge of electrical and plumbing products.

3. Experience buyer to manage and grow operations across two branches.
