POSITION INFO:
Job Title: Communication Specialist Member Communication Location: Tshwane Metro, Pretoria, Brooklyn Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Health, Medical and related Secondary Industry: Insurance Job Duties: Compile project plans for member communication to ensure timely completion of communication projects Identify and plan for potential new engagement opportunities Research and gather information from subject matter experts and internal divisions regarding relevant matters Conduct proper research to determine suitable communication channels Compile specifications for data sets per communication action aimed at specific member groups Formulate and create content for various platforms Compile briefings for graphic designers and events coordinator Draught, edit, and translate documents, website content, and system-generated communication Proofread and edit all member documents and Member Zone content Provide weekly reports to senior management on activities Required Qualifications: A relevant three-year tertiary qualification Education: Relevant tertiary qualification in Communication, Marketing, or related field Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in communication, public relations, journalism and content creation Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong project management skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Proficiency in researching and gathering information Experience in content creation and editing Must have a drivers license Working Conditions: Office-based role\/hybrid with occasional requirement for off-site meetings or events Full-time position with standard working hours May require occasional overtime to meet project deadlines
