SUMMARY:

Signa Opportunity is recruiting unemployed youth for quality workplace experience through the Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative.

About the YES Initiative

The President launched the initiative in 2018 and is a partnership with the government and labor department to collectively devise a national plan to build economic pathways for South Africa’s youth by creating workplace opportunities for South African youth over a period of 12 months.

Position: Communication Coordinator

Stipend: R5000.00

Location: Edenburg

POSITION INFO:

About the role

Oversee the creation of promotional materials to build and develop a brand identity, primarily working in an administrative role and providing support in areas such as marketing, advertising, and media relations.

Responsibilities

Designing or overseeing the design of all promotional materials.
Reviewing all materials and content created by the marketing department.
Managing promotional events and campaigns.
Creating the communications strategy.
Strategizing to improve the company’s brand image.
Monitoring the company’s online presence and reputation.
Evaluating communication strategies and campaigns to determine their effectiveness.

Requirements

Matric.
South African unemployed youth aged between 18 and 34.
Must not have taken part in the YES Program before.
Strong background in marketing strategies and techniques.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze data.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work independently and as a team.
