Commercial Property Manager

SUMMARY:
Our highly reputable client in the property development industry is seeking a well versed and dynamic Commercial Property Manager to join their expanding team in Johannesburg.

POSITION INFO:
Experience and Skills Required:
- 5- 10 years relevant experience within the Industrial Property sector
- A strong, active existing industry network
- Experience/ exposure to working with the broker community
- Candidates with both a strong commercial/ industrial and legal background would be preferred/ at an advantage
- Relevant property knowledge and strong marketing skills a key requirement
- Demonstrated proficiency in full suite of MS Office
- Effective leadership skills with a coaching and mentoring approach
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs
- Reasonable understanding of property management laws and regulations specific to the location/ type of property being managed
- Understanding of the environmental regulations and warehousing operations as pertains to managing properties in the industrial sector

Key deliverables:
- Bring with and utilise your existing industry network to secure property opportunities in the Industrial Sector nationally
- Strong track record in sourcing and lead generation for development of warehouses within the Property Market (Industrial and Logistics Sector)
- Presentation of leasing options for new developments
-Strong commercial knowledge in compiling presentations to prospective tenants
-Maintaining of strategic relationships with tenants
- Sourcing and clear articulation of market intelligence/ data, ensuring updates / trends in the Industrial Warehousing space pertaining to Logistics are timeously brought to the business, and insights capitalised on in line with business strategy
-Knowledge of green initiatives that could set a property apart in a competitive market an added advantage
-Collaborative approach in interactions to ensure the greater objective of ensuring commercial properties are well-maintained, fully leased, and financially viable are met.
