Our client, a leader in retail and shopper marketing solutions, is seeking a dynamic and strategic Commercial Finance Manager to join their team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong financial background and leadership skills to make a real impact across a portfolio of businesses with different financial structures.

Duties:

Budgeting & Forecasting: Take the lead in compiling and managing budgets, ensuring alignment with business goals. Provide regular updates on financial performance and drive accountability across the business.
Financial Analysis: Offer insights on financial trends, monitor forecasting, and assist with financial reporting and variance analysis.
Information Management & Reporting: Ensure managers are well-informed on the financial position of the business, and help guide leaders to optimize resources for maximum efficiency.
Liaison with Operations: Act as a key point of contact between finance and operations, addressing any issues and supporting collections and debt management.
Risk Management: Proactively update risk reports and highlight potential financial risks related to debtors, dissolutions, and contract terms.
People Management: Manage, guide, and motivate your team to ensure high performance and alignment with organizational goals.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
BCom Finance
BCom Honours
CA(SA)

Experience:

Completed SAICA Articles.
At least 8 years in a financial management role.
3 Years management accounting experience.
Exposure within the FMCG industry is a BIG plus!
Must have experience with external stakeholder engagement.
