Position Overview:
The Commercial Manager is responsible for structuring and creating sponsorship packages, focusing on new strategic sponsorship insights and value propositions. This role combines 60% strategic responsibilities, including sponsorship planning and portfolio development, with 40% sales responsibilities, ensuring high-level relationship management and leveraging strategic insights to secure and renew key partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:

• Secure strategic sponsorships for available properties.
• Provide thought leadership and disseminate information within the business.
• Manage client relationships, including research and reporting.
• Engage with stakeholders across various levels, focusing on senior strategic individuals.
• Drive stadium commercialization and new business development initiatives.
• Lead new commercial strategies, focusing on revenue growth, particularly in the digital space.
• Manage sponsorship contracts and ensure client retention.
• Financially manage budgets and deliver profitable projects.
• Oversee new revenue initiatives such as stadium offerings, team sponsorships, hospitality sales, and digital offerings.
• Manage income and cost structures for projects and ensure timely invoicing.

• Solid hands-on experience with large supplier accounts in a high-pressure environment.
• Knowledge and passion for sport, with a clear understanding of the commercial side of the entertainment and sporting industry.
• A CA degree would be an advantage.
