An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Analyst – Sales and Marketing to join a dynamic organisation and play a pivotal role in shaping business strategies across Southern Africa (SA & SADC). This role will serve as a business partner to the marketing team, driving sales and marketing strategies rooted in consumer insights, comprehensive analysis, and sound commercial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and drive successful sales and marketing strategies in collaboration with the marketing team.
• Provide in-depth commercial evaluations of sales and marketing initiatives, including forecasting and macroeconomic considerations.
• Develop and implement strategic and tactical pricing strategies to drive market growth.
• Partner with the marketing team to optimise menu offerings and identify growth opportunities.
• Oversee advertising fund tracking and management.
• Provide leadership and financial insights through participation in key strategic projects.
• Deliver data-driven recommendations on marketing strategies, forecasts, and pricing models.
• Present key insights to leadership teams and franchisees, facilitating informed decision-making.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A completed Finance Degree and CA qualification.
• 7 - 10 years’ experience in a finance or marketing role, with strong exposure to financial data analysis.
• Experience in FMCG or consultancy will be advantageous.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage and empower teams.
• Proven analytical skills with the ability to generate strategic solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Results-driven mindset with a proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong business relationships.
