POSITION INFO:
Role Overview
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring excellence in patient care. This includes:
â Providing advanced clinical care in a specialized area
â Acting as a resource and consultant for expert nursing knowledge
â Teaching and mentoring staff and learners
â Engaging in research to improve care standards
â Demonstrating leadership in best practices and quality improvement

What We’re Looking For:
â Registered Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council
â Post-basic qualification in the specialty or proven expertise in the field
â Minimum 2 years of essential experience in Theatre
â Strong knowledge of clinical governance, quality improvement processes, and national health guidelines
â Experience in ward administration and risk management
â Ability to mentor, teach, and lead a team to ensure high-quality patient care
