POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

• Design and modelling of water and waste water treatment plants
• Prepare tender documents and reports
• Design and model smart, efficient water and sewage systems — from specs to final drawings
• Dive into plant ops, run audits, troubleshoot issues, and boost performance
• Bring solid experience across mechanical, electrical, control, and instrumentation systems
• Lead design stages, manage contracts, and keep clients in the loop from start to finish

• Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in process design/modelling for water and wastewater treatment plants
• Proven track record in water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, bulk water supply systems, pipeline conveyance, pump stations, and reticulation design.
• Strong design capabilities and advanced computer and analysis software skills with the following:
• EnviroSim BioWin / DHI WEST or similar wastewater process modelling software (Essential)
• HECRAS
• EPANET / PCSWMM
• AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Revit
• KYPIPE Surge analysis software
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English

• BSc/BEng/BTech or equivalent in Civil Engineering
• Professional registration (ECSA)
