SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking experienced Civil Engineering Technicians to join their dynamic team on site in the Western Cape. They will support the Civil Engineers and Construction Managers in the planning, construction, and management of civil engineering projects. These roles require individuals with hands-on experience working on construction sites and a practical, solutions-oriented mindset.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Relevant degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
3+ years of experience working on large-scale construction projects.
Valid driver’s license.
Medically and physically fit for site-based work.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Analyse and interpret engineering drawings and project plans to guide construction activities.
Conduct site surveys and create detailed maps for project structures.
Support project delivery by monitoring scope, materials, costs, and timelines.
Supervise on-site teams, subcontractors, and daily operations to maintain smooth progress.
Manage resources, including equipment and materials, to ensure efficient project execution.
Ensure work is completed on schedule, adhering to quality benchmarks and standards.
Monitor and enforce safety standards to maintain a secure work environment.
Compile and deliver comprehensive reports for clients and stakeholders.
