Our client, situated in Wellington, is a leading Consulting Engineering Company in the field of project management, fuel, fire, civil and structural engineering. The company is currently seeking the services of a qualified Civil Engineering Draughtsman.
The candidate will be responsible for the creation of highly professional technical drawings for civil and structural projects and will work in close conjunction with a small professional team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed structural and civil drawings based on project specifications
- Interpret and review rough drawings and develop into technical, detailed drawings
- Work closely with engineers and provide relevant assistance
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project team
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and codes
Requirements:
- Diploma or Certificate in draughting
- Minimum 5 years’ draughting experience in civil and structural engineering, preferably in a consultancy firm
- High level of proficiency in:
- Autodesk Revit 3D modelling for structural work and civil work
- AutoCAD 2D draughting and Civil 3D for civil engineering works
- Microsoft package
- Highly organised and motivated
- Ability to work under pressure
- Team player
