Civil Engineering Draughtsman

Our client, situated in Wellington, is a leading Consulting Engineering Company in the field of project management, fuel, fire, civil and structural engineering. The company is currently seeking the services of a qualified Civil Engineering Draughtsman.

The candidate will be responsible for the creation of highly professional technical drawings for civil and structural projects and will work in close conjunction with a small professional team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed structural and civil drawings based on project specifications
• Interpret and review rough drawings and develop into technical, detailed drawings
• Work closely with engineers and provide relevant assistance
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project team
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and codes

Requirements:

• Diploma or Certificate in draughting
• Minimum 5 years’ draughting experience in civil and structural engineering, preferably in a consultancy firm
• High level of proficiency in:
• Autodesk Revit 3D modelling for structural work and civil work
• AutoCAD 2D draughting and Civil 3D for civil engineering works
• Microsoft package
• Highly organised and motivated
• Ability to work under pressure
• Team player
