Job Description
It is the Administrative Assistant's role to provide clerical assistance to the company, with basic accounting functions required. Able to perform general office duties, as well as prepare invoices and technical proposals
Requirements:
• Performing basic accounting duties
• Maintaining databases and spreadsheets
• Providing administrative assistance
• Assist with the preparation of professional fee accounts and invoices on MS Excel i.e Numerate person that can accurately reconcile figures
• Assist with the preparation of proposal documents for the procurement of consulting engineering work
• Typing and word processing (technical letters, reports, contract documents)
• Routine correspondence of both technical and non-technical nature
• Proficient in computer software programs, such as Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and scanners
• Basic mathematical skills
• Basic knowledge of accounting and financial principles
• Must be an effective communicator (personal, phone, writing, email; etc);
• An independent problem solver that requires little supervision;
• A solutions-based attitude, strong work ethic;
• Must possess a high level of responsibility for their work and a team player attitude
