SUMMARY:
My client is seeking a Civil Technologist/Engineer, with a Bachelors of Science/Engineering/Technology in Civil Engineering. Individuals must be professionally registered with ECSA as a PR. Eng or PR Tech. Experience using AutoCAD, Civil3D, WaterMate and PipeMate or similar design packages will be an advantages.

POSITION INFO:
Individuals need to have an understanding of statutory approval processes (e.g. City of Tshwane, Johannesburg Roads Agency, Johannesburg Water, etc.).
Planning and/or conceptual design, detail design, specification, procurement process administration and contract administration of projects. Carrying out measurements and valuations to produce accurate project schedules, quantities and valuations at all stages of a project. Excellent technical writing skills, with good communication and time management skills. Work well in a dynamic team environment and able to function independently with limited guidance. Suitable candidate must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle, candidate must be willing to travel to remote sites. The candidate will also play role in the review of work and the mentoring of staff as part of our team.
