SUMMARY:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer to join our client in the Western Cape. You will provide technical support to Construction Managers and oversee the planning, construction, and management of civil engineering projects.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Relevant degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution (BEng preferred).
5+ years of experience working on large-scale construction projects.
Proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD).
Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) qualification is advantageous.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare and review project plans to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
Implement approved amendments and oversee construction and maintenance of structures and facilities.
Provide technical guidance on systems, structures, devices, and materials to meet project specifications.
Conduct reviews of technical issues, offering innovative and practical solutions.
Prepare detailed reports and documentation for client communication.
Ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery while adhering to best practices and standards.

Additional Requirements:

Valid driver’s license.
Medically fit for site-based work.
Preference will be given to candidates already based in the Western Cape.
