We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer with a strong background in Roads and Water projects to lead and manage our team of Junior Civil Engineers. The ideal candidate will have between 5 to 10 years of relevant experience, a strong academic background, and proven skills in design, report writing, and project management.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Management: Oversee and manage a team of 6 Junior Civil Engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and ensuring project deadlines are met.
• Design & Drawing: Lead the design and drawing process for Roads and Water projects, ensuring all designs are compliant with industry standards and client specifications.
• Report Writing: Prepare, review, and finalize technical reports, ensuring they are clear, concise, and informative for clients and stakeholders.
• Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects, from initial planning stages through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide updates, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all engineering work is of high quality, adhering to safety standards, and compliant with relevant regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree would be an advantage.
• Experience: 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Civil Engineering, with a strong focus on Roads and Water projects.
• Technical Skills:
  
  • Proficiency in design and drawing software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
  • Strong report writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
  • In-depth knowledge of Roads and Water engineering principles and practices.
• Leadership: Previous experience in a senior role, with proven ability to manage a team of engineers.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is preferred.
