We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to lead the full-time supervision and management of a 4-5 year project, overseeing the preparation, installation, and construction of key infrastructure, including Tailings Storage Facilities, civil earthworks, slurry pipelines, and concrete works. POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS
- BSc/B Eng/BTech in Civil Engineering
- ECSA registered
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the mining environment
- Clean record with valid COF or the ability to obtain a certificate of fitness
- Able to commence duties on short notice
TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- A valid Code 14 drivers’ license
- Computer literate (MS Office; Autocad/Prokon; Projects)
- Ability to maintain sound interpersonal relations with Client, Company
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to plan, lead, execute and organize tasks.
- Management, supervisory, communication skills.
