Position Overview

The Chief Digital Marketing Officer (CDMO) is responsible for leading and driving the digital marketing strategy to enhance brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth through online channels. This role combines strategic planning, leadership, and a deep understanding of digital marketing to ensure the company remains competitive in the digital landscape.

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Leadership

Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with the company's business goals and objectives.

Lead digital transformation initiatives to enhance the company’s digital presence and capabilities.

Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate digital marketing into the overall marketing and business strategy.

Digital Marketing Campaigns

Oversee the creation, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.

Ensure all digital marketing efforts are data-driven and performance-focused.

Develop and implement strategies for lead generation, customer acquisition, and retention.

Team Management

Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing digital marketing team.

Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented team culture.

Provide guidance and support to team members in their professional development.

Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics to measure the success of digital marketing efforts.

Performance Analysis and Reporting

Utilize analytics tools to monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of digital marketing initiatives.

Generate actionable insights and recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness and ROI.

Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance metrics.

Brand and Customer Experience

Ensure brand consistency across all digital channels and touchpoints.

Develop and implement strategies to enhance the customer experience and engagement through digital channels.

Monitor and manage the company’s online reputation.

Innovation and Technology

Stay abreast of the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies.

Evaluate and implement innovative solutions to enhance digital marketing effectiveness.

Leverage marketing automation and other technologies to improve efficiency and personalization.

Budget Management

Develop and manage the digital marketing budget.

Allocate resources effectively to maximize impact and ROI.

Ensure cost-effective management of digital marketing initiatives.

Technology & Tools Management

Manage and optimize the use of digital tools and platforms such as Zoho, Pipedrive, PropData, PropEngine, Monday, and Smartsheets.

Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends and technologies to keep the company at the forefront of the industry.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.

Experience

10+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of successful digital campaigns.

5+ years in a leadership role, managing teams and budgets.

Experience in a similar industry or market is preferred.

Skills and Competencies

Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to develop and execute strategic plans that align with business objectives.

Digital Marketing Expertise: In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels, tools, and best practices. Proficiency in SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content marketing, CRM systems and analytics.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

Technology Savvy: Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, AdWords, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho). Understanding of emerging technologies and how they can be applied to marketing.

Creativity: Creative thinking and ability to develop innovative marketing strategies. Strong understanding of branding and storytelling.
