Chemical Mixing Solvent Specialist

SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Chemical Mixing Solvent Specialist to join our clients team in Wynberg, Sandton. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mixing solvents in a chemical environment and a minimum of five years of experience.

POSITION INFO:
Position: Chemical Mixing Solvent Specialist

Location: Wynberg, Gauteng

Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract

Minimum Qualifying Criteria:

• National Certificate: Chemical Operations or related filed
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mixer Operator in a chemical environment with solvents
• Minimum 5 years experience with batch mixing and continuous mixing processes
• Knowledge of HAZOP and risk assessment principles
• Proven experience in mixing solvents and other chemical substances
• Knowledge of mixing equipment, processes, and safety protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus

• Operate and maintain mixing equipment to ensure efficient and safe production
• Monitor and control mixing processes to meet product specifications
• Conduct quality checks and report any deviations or issues
• Collaborate with production team to optimize production workflows and meet targets
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to company safety policies and procedures
• Troubleshoot and resolve mixing equipment issues, escalating to maintenance team as needed
