SUMMARY:
Mechanical Engineer required with chassis experience. USA position. Will work in Cape Town for about a year to ensure Visa Requirements are in place. Chassis, truck or heavy-duty vehicle applications. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Must understand customer needs and requirements and translate these to technical requirements.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER- CHASSIS POWERTRAIN- AUTOMOTIVE MANUFACTURING

International companyÂ

Minimum 12 Months in Cape Town
US Salary will be negotiated before employment with SA starts

Salaries depended on position, years of experience

Qualification and experience :

B.Eng. / B. Tech.Â in Mechanical EngineeringÂ Â
3-5 yearsâ experience in Automotive Development
Chassis experienceÂ

Responsibilities:

Work in the Product engineering department on the Chassis of variety of trucks that are design and build
Reviews design direction
Assist with the identification of needs and develop solutions
Works with suppliers to maintain long term road maps and implement new solutions
Production

The candidate will work from South Africa and emigrate to the USA after 1 year.
