POSITION INFO:

We are seeking an experienced CA to lead the financial operations of the Company.

The CA will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial management, planning, and reporting activities.

This pivotal role will work closely with the Board of Directors, Senior management, and the Executive team, providing expert financial guidance and ensuring the company’s long-term financial health and success.

Scope of Work:

Daily Reporting and management of Finances and bank accounts

Conduct weekly and reviews of the cash forecast

Oversee monthly review of all journals

Authorization and approval of daily and weekly EFT Payments

Cash book maintenance

Management of debtors and creditors functions

Strategic planning

Assets management including fixed assets, acquisitions and disposals (CAPEX Management)

Cash management of the company

Review GL recons monthly

Prepare forecasts and budgets

Deliver management accounts to the board, including variance analysis.

Review balance sheet reconciliations monthly.

Maintenance of fixed asset register

Complete monthly VAT returns.

Calculate annual and monthly taxes for audits and submit annual tax returns (ITR14).

Prepare annual financial statements.

Oversee the audit process.

Contract management

Compliance with laws and legislation

Managing BEE compliance

Management of Procurement

Supply Chain Management

Signing off Payments

Authorisation of Banking & Liaising with bankers

Bank Processing

Cost Analysis Per Site

Income VS Expenditure Reports

Preparation of Tender costings and submissions

Negotiations of Suppliers

Negotiating Customer Increases

Drawing up of SLA’s

Scorecard performance reviews

Job Experience & Skills Required: Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
BCom Finance
BCom Honours
CA(SA) or CIMA
Experience:
Completed SAICA Articles
5 – 15 Years experience in a relevant role
Must have at least 4 years of management experience
Must have an in-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations and industry legislation
