Our client, a leading Proudly South African Law firm, seeks a qualified Candidate Attorney to join their Tax Department.

POSITION INFO:
This is an excellent opportunity to build a solid foundation in property law and taxation processes under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree essential.
• Master in Tax – LLM Tax essential.
• A strong interest in Taxation and property law, with a desire to continuously learn and grow.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring high-quality results.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office and a willingness to learn Taxation software.
• Must be in possession of a valid and current driver's licence

• Assist in the preparation and processing of Taxation / property transfer documents.
• Liaise with clients, deeds office, and other financial/official institutions.
• Conduct thorough research and draft comprehensive legal correspondence, utilising strong analytical and writing skills.
• Provide administrative and legal support to the Taxation team, contributing to the smooth operation of the department.
• Learn and contribute to all aspects of the Taxation process, including property transactions, contracts, and legislation.
