SUMMARY:
An established Forestry and Sawmilling company with operations in the Eastern Cape and interests across Southern Africa seeks a highly experienced and visionary leader to serve as CEO or CFO.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:
   
   • Develop and implement the company’s mission, vision, and long-term strategy.
   • Ensure alignment of organizational objectives with the broader strategic goals.
2. Organizational Performance:
   
   • Monitor and drive operational and financial performance to ensure sustainability and profitability.
   • Identify and mitigate risks, leveraging opportunities for growth and innovation.
3. Executive Leadership:
   
   • Lead and mentor the executive team to formulate and execute policies and plans aligned with company strategy.
   • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
4. Stakeholder Management:
   
   • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government, investors, and industry partners.
   • Represent the company in public forums and negotiations.
5. Corporate Governance:
   
   • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and governance frameworks.
   • Promote ethical leadership and uphold the highest standards of accountability.

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field (MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred).
• Proven experience in a senior executive role, preferably within the forestry, sawmilling, or manufacturing industries.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and operational efficiency.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and risk assessment.
• Visionary leadership with the ability to adapt to market changes and foster innovation.
