CEO / CFO to lead a Forestry / Sawmilling Company
(The Company is based in the Eastern Cape but has interests throughout Southern Africa)

Candidate will be the most Senior Executive and have overall responsibility for:

• Formulation of the organisation’s mission, vision and strategy and its implementation
• Organisational performance
• Leadership and direction of the top management team ensuring that they formulate and implement policies and plans appropriate to the company’s strategy
• Management of key stakeholder relationships
• Corporate governance and compliance with all relevant legislation

• COO forestry
• COO harvesting & transport
• COO sawmilling
• CFO/FM (& IT)
• HR manager
• Legal & compliance manager

• Good leadership skills
• Good business acumen
• Organized and decisive
• Financially literate
• Appropriate operational / business experience preferably in manufacturing
• Equity candidate preferred, but ability and fit for the job most important

• Client is a family-owned business of 50 years that are turning into a corporate
