Responsibilities:

• In-depth knowledge of the South African tax system, including legislation, case law, and SARS practices.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different tax areas (compliance, advisory, dispute services).
• Strong relationships with key government bodies like SARS and the Tax Ombud.
• Engage with professional organizations.
• Provide visionary leadership and drive strategic plans.
• Foster a results-driven, high-performance culture.
• Uphold high ethical standards and ensure governance and transparency.
• Work closely with the Board and stakeholders.
• Effective communication and media engagement.
• Inspire and lead teams with a focus on professional growth and impact

• Completed Bcom or Bcom Honours in taxation
• SAIT accreditation is essential.
• Financial Services experience is essential
• 15 to 20 years tax experience is essential
