CAD ENGINEER

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Automotive parts manufacturing industry is looking for a CAD Engineer to join their Project Engineering Department

POSITION INFO:

• Program Management of all engineering changes is to be tracked and updated to the plant team and client regularly
• Tracking of all project deliverables for New Project Development
• Reading and studying technical data from the customer and sharing with respective departments
• Visualizing of 2D and 3D data share by customer and suppliers
• Communicating design / manufacturing constraints to customer and suppliers
• Inputting data trackers for Engineering changes
• Tracking of project status
• Communication of Engineering changes with cross functional team
• Regular reviews to update Engineering changes with customer and plant
• Press review and setup for new products and design changes

Education:

- Matric

- NQF 5 Mechanical Engineering (minimum)

Experience:

- 3 years experience in the automotive sector in a similar role

- Must be able to use CAD efficiently

- Ready to work in a Fast paced environment
