SUMMARY:
Job Title: Junior CAD Designer (Clothing Design)
Location:  Midrand
Remuneration: R17 000 - R20 000

Our client, working in Clothing, is seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Junior CAD Designer to join their team in Midrand.
The Junior CAD Designer will work closely with product developers to ensure accuracy with branding, colours, textures, patterns and translating this into production ready files. 
The ideal candidate will have the ability to understand Design briefs and quickly translate garments into CAD. Must be experienced in working with tight deadlines and a fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Research and identify key seasonal trends to inform design direction.
Develop garment CAD designs and clothing CAD designs to support the creative process such as detailed Techpack's.
Assist in trim development, ensuring high-quality finishes.
Create mood boards and colour palettes to define design aesthetics.
Assist in range building and competitor analysis to maintain a competitive edge.
Develop branded swing tickets and trims
Design graphics and prints that align with the brand’s identity and target market.
Utilize Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to bring conceptual designs to life.
Work on a variety of design projects, including apparel graphics, AOP prints, and branding elements.
Stay updated on industry trends.
Assist with the upkeep of Overseas samples, photography, and tag according to season
Ensure all samples are labelled according to different labels and hung up in order.

POSITION INFO:
Required qualification and working knowledge:
Proven experience as a CAD Designer within the clothing industry.
Strong artistic skills with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is essential.
Experience in CAD design for garments and trims.
Ability to collaborate within a team and incorporate feedback effectively.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
Strong communication skills to articulate design concepts clearly.
