One of our well known energy and chemical clients are looking for an experienced CA to work as a Senior Financial Accountant on a 5-month contract in Sandton.

Qualifications and experience:

No less than 6 years' working experience, of which 2 years' post articles
CA
SAP work experience
IFRS knowledge
Tax knowledge
Companies Act knowledge

Key performance areas:

Responsible for driving continuous improvement - business and financial systems / processes
OneStream and SAP reporting
Form part of policy drafting process
Drive the accuracy of the General Ledger
Drafting annual financial statements
Assist with internal and external audits
Capturing forecasts and budgets
Cash flow
Month end reporting
SOX testing and control
Prep tax returns
Assist with deferred tax
Managing a team
