Are you an experienced Buyer with a love for pets and a knack for sourcing the best products? Step into an exciting role in the pet product industry where your skills and passion will help shape the product offerings and delight pet owners everywhere! The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing and managing the supply of products across dedicated categories that align with the company’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assortment Planning: Source and manage a product portfolio that aligns with market trends, customer preferences & company objectives; Analyze customer feedback and sales data to guide future product selection and discontinuations
• Innovation: Identify and introduce new, high-quality products through supplier collaboration and product testing.
• Analysis: Use data to evaluate product performance and make strategic buying decisions.
• Supplier Management: Research and identify potential suppliers; Build strong supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, and stay ahead of competitors through thorough market research.
• Planogram Creation: Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to create eye-catching store layouts using Quant Retail to elevate the customer experience.

What We’re Looking For:

• A degree in Business, Merchandising, or a related field.
• 3 years experience in retail buying
• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, with proficiency in MS Excel & other data analysis tools
• A love for pets and a keen understanding of pet industry trends.
• Proactive, results-driven, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
