Our client based in East Rand is looking for an experienced Buyer to join their procurement department

Procurement qualifications
International buying
3 years experience in a similar role
Syspro
Commercial awareness
IT, Maths, Interpersonal, analytical and negotiating skills
Creative mind, ability to make decisions and cope with pressure
Able to work in a team and adapt to situations

Key responsibility

Identify the organizations purchasing needs imports and local
Import products
Research, select and purchasing quality products and raw materials
Building relationships with suppliers and negotiating with them for the best price, quantities and delivery timescales
Processing orders and updating management on the status of orders
Receiving and receipting of stock
Arranging transport of goods and tracking orders to ensure timely delivery
Making sure the Enviroserv bin are collected and cleaned
