Business Intelligence Analyst - Agriculture

SUMMARY:

A well-established agricultural company based in Tzaneen is seeking the above to support the organization by generating insights and driving data-informed decisions through the development and analysis of business intelligence tools.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics, Industrial Engineering, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar BI or analytical role
• Ability to understand, analyze, and improve financial and business processes is essential
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Power BI at an advanced level
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail
• Proven ability to generate reports and present findings to senior leadership
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans, with a collaborative approach

• Conducting system evaluations and recommending improvements.
• Performing product costing analyses and developing effective pricing strategies.
• Developing and maintaining budgeting tools for both expenses and sales.
• Collecting, cleaning, and managing data from diverse sources for analysis.
• Building and maintaining applications to enhance business workflows.
• Designing, developing, and updating Power BI reports for decision support.
• Conducting data analysis to inform and drive strategic initiatives.
