Role Overview:
The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with key clients, and promoting the company’s full range of fencing and security solutions. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the agricultural sector and experience in sales and business development, particularly in the fencing and security industries. This role requires a proactive, results-driven individual with a deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to build long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the agricultural sector, particularly farms, ranches, and agribusinesses.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase revenue and market share.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients, from initial contact through to successful sales.
- Meet and exceed sales targets on a consistent basis.

Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
- Provide expert advice on fencing and security solutions, tailored to clients’ specific needs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, offering ongoing support and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity.
- Understand the competitive landscape in the agricultural fencing and security industry and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Product Knowledge & Presentation:
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in fencing and security technologies, particularly those relevant to the agricultural sector.
- Present product offerings and solutions to clients, highlighting their unique features and benefits.

Collaborate with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with the operations and technical teams to ensure the smooth execution of projects from the sales stage to delivery.
- Provide feedback to product development teams on market demand and potential product improvements.

Experience:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within the agricultural, fencing, or security industries.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
