A leading organisation is seeking a Business Area Lead to drive the development and execution of its National Civil Case Selection strategy. This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional with strong leadership expertise to evaluate and select civil cases that align with business objectives, allocate resources efficiently, and monitor case performance while engaging key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement civil case selection strategies that align with national compliance objectives
• Oversee case evaluation, resource allocation, and performance monitoring to drive efficiency
• Ensure cross-functional integration and collaboration across different practice areas
• Establish and refine governance, risk, and compliance frameworks for case selection
• Identify compliance trends and proactively mitigate risks
• Drive process improvements, policy alignment, and operational excellence
• Manage stakeholder relationships and service-level agreements to enhance organisational impact
• Lead and develop teams, ensuring a high-performing culture and strategic workforce planning
• Oversee financial controls, budget management, and cost optimisation

Requirements:

• Honours/Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration/Management with a tax background
• 10-12 Years in a strategy-focused management role
• Strong regional management experience, ideally across multiple locations
• Expertise in strategy development, compliance analysis, performance management, and process optimisation
• Proven ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and drive meaningful change
