Business Analyst

SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:
Primary Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in implementing and/or developing IT applications for medium and large organizations.
• Proven experience in a business analyst role within the supply chain industry, including logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, ERP, or warehousing applications.
• Experience in International Supply Chain (Import and Export) operations.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• A tertiary qualification, National Diploma, Degree, or equivalent in Business Analysis or related fields.

• Ability to analyze client requirements and develop effective and innovative solutions.
• Proficiency in running JAD sessions or requirements workshops with clients.
• Strong documentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working on projects at all levels and delivering results with quality and pride.
• Team player with a strong willingness to work within a structured environment.
• Ability to work independently on projects while adhering to deadlines and project plans.

• Experience with MS SQL and Transact SQL.
• Familiarity with Application Integration projects, including integration technologies such as web services, APIs, etc.
• Experience working with Customs (SARS or others) is an added advantage.
