Building Services Engineer – Exciting Career Opportunity in Malta!

Are you an experienced Building Services Engineer looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in Malta, contributing to the design, installation, and maintenance of complex building systems.

This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse and high-profile projects, ensuring efficiency, safety, and sustainability in modern infrastructure.

POSITION INFO:

Your Responsibilities:

Design and oversee the installation of mechanical, electrical, and public health systems in buildings.
Develop schematic, concept, and detailed designs for integrated building services.
Ensure compliance with regulations, industry standards, and health & safety codes.
Approve materials, equipment, and workshop drawings in alignment with project specifications.
Monitor and maintain building systems and processes for optimal performance.
Assist in energy audits, testing, and commissioning of systems.
Coordinate MEP designs with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration.
Support cost management, budgeting, and financial forecasting for projects.
Contribute to quality assurance and risk assessment strategies.

What We’re Looking For:

A degree in Building Services Engineering or a related field (a Master’s is an advantage).
Preferably chartered or warranted engineer status.
Experience in designing and managing complex building service projects.
Knowledge of energy efficiency, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.
Familiarity with LEED/BREEAM accreditation is a plus.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Revit, Hevacomp, and other engineering software.
Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
A proactive and detail-oriented mindset with a collaborative team approach.
