SUMMARY:
DUR002232 - BOOKKEEPER - (MOUNT EDGRCOMBE)

Purpose of the Job:
To manage daily cash flow, reconcile financial transactions, and support the accounting team by maintaining accurate records of creditors, debtors, and cash sales, ensuring efficient and precise financial operations.

Skills & Qualifications:

Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Bookkeeping
Computer literate; knowledge of SYSPRO
Minimum of 3 years' experience in administration
Experience with managing a cash book is essential

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Handle unidentified debtors and creditors payments on bank statements; liaise with the bank for resolution.
Prepare daily cash flow reports.
Download daily bank statements for debtors and cash sales clerks.
Manage preparation of debit and credit card sales.
Update daily receipts and payments in the cash book, rectifying discrepancies and manually updating as needed.
Reconcile cash sales accurately.
Maintain the fixed asset register on the SYSPRO system.
