Bookkeeper | Financial Accountant
Port Elizabeth
R35 000 CTC

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field OR Certified Bookkeeper or equivalent qualification
Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience.
Proficiency in high-volume transaction processing
Advanced proficiency with accounting software (Sage Evolution). Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
Reconciling bank statements and accounting records with internal controls
Reviewing financial data for accuracy and verifying that transactions have been recorded accurately
Reconciling accounts payable ledgers and accounts receivable ledgers
Doing payroll recon
Preparing reports on financial performance for management purposes
Taking books up to trial balance
