BEAUTY SPECIALIST - Wax confident (Face & Body)

SUNNINGDALE - West Coast, Western Cape (ZA)

START: 01 November 2024 / A.S.A.P

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS

• Monday – Saturday 08:30 - 18:00 / 10:00 - 19:00 (rotate shifts)
• Sunday & Public Holidays 08:30 - 18:00
• 1x Weekend OFF per month + Days off in the week 
• Total 8x days off per month

REPORT TO: Salon Owner

SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS

• R5,500 Basic Salary per month before commission or tax deductions
• Service Commission - tiered from 10% - 15%
• Retail Commission - tiered from 12% - 20%
• Monthly incentives & performance bonuses

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. South African citizen OR valid working permit for employment in SA (we do not offer permits)
2. ITEC / SAAHSP accredited qualification
3. DIPLOMA Health & Skin Care / Beauty Therapy / Somatology / Cosmetology / Beauty Specialist
4. Must be wax confident as this is our most popular service - this is not negotiable
5. Beautifully groomed, manicured and presentable

EXPERIENCE:

1. At least 2 years employment experience in salon or spa
2. Experience working on various hair types for hair removal including Ethnic & Asian
3. Confidence working in a fast-paced environment, we do in & out services (express)

BONUS SKILLS:

• Threading
• Tinting
• Henna

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

1. Confident and skilled in all standard BEAUTY services
2. Confident performing intimate waxes (Hollywood & Brazilian)
3. Confident performing male grooming (Chest wax, B.S.C Wax)
4. Retail confident
5. Confidently re-book clients where applicable
6. Strong team dynamic, but able to work on your own without supervision
7. Able to commit to working flexible hours (weekends, major holidays and shifts)
