BOOKKEEPER

SUMMARY:
Hilton Area – KwaZulu Natal: Our client is looking for a Bookkeeper to join the team.
 
Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.
 
This is a LIVE OUT position.

POSITION INFO:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Accounting/ Bookkeeping diploma/degree/certificates
• At least 5 years previous experience in bookkeeping
• Knowledge of data management and financial data analysis
• Computer Literate
• Good interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Valid drivers license

• Raise all Pastel customer invoices according to job cards or supporting documentation
• Email all customer invoices to respective recipients.
• Follow up overdue debtors.
• Reconciling of all debtors and checking against the age analysis.
• Raise interest from time to time on overdue debtors
• Preparing debtors reconciliations when necessary
• Attend to queries that arise.
• Filing of debtors invoices
• Capturing all bank statements, allocation of creditors and debtors payments correctly
• Monthly bank reconciliations
• Loading of payments for release on the banking platform
• Control and reconciliation of petty cash for the entities
• Overseeing the monthly wage payroll, as well as HR functions related to the payroll
• Annual preparation for external Audits and collating required information
• Ad-Hoc tasks assigned from time to time and any other reasonable tasks.
