SUMMARY:
We are seeking an Automation Specialist for a permanent role based in East London, Eastern Cape

POSITION INFO:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

• Grade 12 / N3 Technically qualified technician / artisan
• 5+ years work experience with programming skill and familiarity with programming automation tooling & equipment
• Hands on related experience
• Valid drivers and own transport

• Design and develop Industrial Automated Processes, Systems and Components.
• Troubleshoot, Diagnose and Repair Automated Systems. Install, Configure and maintain Automation Systems.
• Implement new technologies and software to improve Automation Systems.
• Generate and maintain technical documentation for Automated Systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on Automated Systems.
• Analyse and promote industrial systems optimization.
• Monitor system operation and respond to alarms and errors Advancing Laser Technology
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure operating system reliability and safety standards are achieved.
• Maintaining Industry standards and compliance.
• Must be able to work flexible hours i.e. Call-Outs I Stand By
